We have a wait list I can put you on for $250, this is non-refundable but goes toward your future puppy from us. Approved breeders and people who plan to show their puppy in AKC dog shows go to the top of the list if there is any. When puppies are born I will go, in order, down the wait list to see if you want a puppy from the current litter. The remainder of the deposit needed to hold a puppy in your name is required before 2 weeks old, this amount is $250 also non-refundable. Puppies will be chosen at 4 weeks old. First on the paid deposit list gets first pick, and so on down the list. If at that time you are not ready for a puppy, we will keep you on the "deposit paid" list for the next litter.
We have a $500 non-refundable deposit that goes toward the total price of the puppy which is $2500. Deposits should be paid by 2 weeks of age, total price should be paid by 6 weeks of age. We do offer a 10% discount for Military, medical, police, fire fighters, and EMS in honor of their service. For puppy delivery you can either come here (Kennewick, WA) and pick up the puppy or we can work with you to arrange ground or air shipping at your cost.
Puppies will come with AKC registration paperwork. They will be vet checked, microchipped, wormed, and their first vaccine will be given before they go to their forever homes at 8-10 weeks of age. We typically do not give full registration, meaning we don’t want you breeding the dog, and require the puppy to be fixed between 18-24 months of age. Puppies also will come with a care package that will include some of the food they are currently eating, a soft blanket or toy that smells like momma, as well as some misc. toys and things.
I will (job and kids willing 😊) try to post things on my dogs every couple of weeks because getting to know the parents is important, once a litter is born I will take a short weekly video of the litter and post it every week so everyone can see them grow and get to know their personalities. The pups will have colored collars on to tell them apart easily.
I am very careful with the number of visitors here because I have heard horror stories about parvo and such, and I want to keep your future puppy as healthy as possible. However I would be open to you coming here at some point if you would like to meet the breeding pairs yourself and see our kennel setup. We also can arrange for facetime chats and I can do a walk around for you to show my setup and the dogs. I want my buyers to be comfortable in knowing that my dogs are well taken care of and their puppies will be growing in a loving environment.
We bought our dogs from great breeders that specifically tested back many generations for health soundness and sweet personalities. At 2 years of age they are checked to clear their hips and elbows, heart, and cystinuria cleared. Before this time they are checked by our vet for soundness, and we will not breed them if they are not vet cleared to be bred. The health of our dogs as well as the health of our puppies is very important to us and we want the best puppies to continue this beautiful loving breed. Our dogs eat Diamond Naturals Large Breed food, are given joint supplements as well as vitamins and probiotics.
- A collar/harness with a tag, and leash.
- A comfy bed. (they can get hot easily so elevated cot style or cooling dog mats are helpful.)
- A food and water bowl, preferably a splash less water bowl as they LOVE water. A "slow feeder" food bowl can help with boredom and messes as well as slowing down a fast eater.
- Diamond Naturals Large Breed Puppy food Lamb flavor.
- Toys of a few varieties to keep their mouths and minds busy. (never too many)
- An XXL crate if crate training.
- I highly suggest either a dog door (XXL) or dog potty bells to aid in potty training.
- Research on how to properly train a puppy with positive reinforcement. Find a place near you that does puppy training sessions for good training and socialization.
-A vet appointment for future shots and checkups at 9, 12, 16 weeks old. Booster shots need done at 9 and 12 weeks, Rabies shot needs done at 16 weeks.
-Non-chlorinated water to start with. We raise our pups on our well water, if they are transitioning to chlorinated city water they need to do a slow transition.
